Private cabin on wooded 20 acres

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful house! The property was incredibly relaxing and lovely. It was conveniently close to everything we needed while still letting us soak in the beautiful nature around us—truly perfect for our getaway!The only shower/tub combo is a bit high, with a handheld showerhead and a shower curtain. I’m 5'7", and the top of the tub reaches about mid-thigh for me. So if you have someone in your group who might have balance issues or difficulty stepping over higher surfaces, it’s good to keep that in mind. Thankfully, it worked out great for us since neither of us had any issues. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

We enjoyed relaxing outside while our dogs roamed after a long car ride. Peaceful setting and the home had everything we needed for a relaxing evening away from the city.

Misleading Listing and Serious Safety Issues – Avoid This CabinWe booked this cabin after confirming details with the owners—but unfortunately, much of what was advertised was completely false. The listing claims three bedrooms, which is simply not true.There is only one actual room with a door (no closet, just a bed). The so-called second “room” is a loft with no door, no storage, no TV, and only a half bath. The third “room” is not a room at all—you access it by climbing a dangerous ladderthrough the loft into a low-ceiling crawl space with two twin beds. You’ll literally hit your head entering it. Trying to pass this off as a bedroom is dishonest.If you value privacy, don’t book this cabin. Nearly every window in the house is completely uncovered—no shades or curtains—except in the bedrooms and bathroom. It was like living in a fishbowl.Safety-wise, this place is a hazard.    •    The stovetop knobs are overly sensitive—we barely brushed against them and accidentally turned on a burner, resulting in damage to our belongings. It’s a clear fire risk.    •    The only shower is in a deep, freestanding tub that isn’t secured to the floor. Everyone in our group (ranging in age and mobility) nearly slipped trying to get in and out. This setup is unsafe and absolutely not ADA    •    The air filters in the “hotel-style” wall AC units were completely filthy. We only discovered this after the unit in the only true bedroom stopped cooling properly and starte

This cabin was fabulous! Perfect location and perfect setting. It had everything we needed and more. The location is awesome - a very earthy, woodsy vibe, but modern cabin. Beds were so comfy!!! Thanks!
